The Toddbrook Reservoir was built in 1831 as a feeder for the Peak Forest Canal. It itself is fed by the Todd Brook stream. It is located in High Peak, Derbyshire, and has a surface area of 0.146 km2.
Monitoring Water Quality
Partnering with the River Trust, we will be helping to monitor the water quality at Toddbrook by measuring the levels of coliform in the water at two points, point A being just above a swimming area and point B being above all the points of consented discharges (where wastewater is released) so that it can be used for a background comparison.
We’ll be entering the results for comparison using FreshWater Watch.
